This is our analysis of the Banquet Example, exhibiting each of the Church's ties to salvation.
Through the Church, we receive our salvation. Since Christ is no longer on the Earth, we must go to the Church which has received the authority of Christ to forgive sins. The Church needs to act as a mediator between mankind and Christ because Christ has Ascended.
